Hi, I am an Italian customer, I purchased a Starline M17 GPS Module from your Italian dealer in Turin (Sector Cam). I connected a 100mA mini siren to the external output wire (blue wire), I set the motion sensor with high sensitivity, the siren intervention time with several seconds, and all the other GPS settings perfectly. But I noticed that moving the car and moving it (so you can hear the movement and the change of the geographical position) the siren does not sound.

I've made several attempts but it doesn't sound. Instead it only rings if I send it the text message 1234 K 30

(rings for 30 seconds) or 1234 K 100 (rings for 100 seconds).

Any time in seconds I enter, it is performed perfectly, but the siren sounds only after sending the sms 1234 K. Now I ask: but does the siren sound only after sending the sms 1234 K? That is, does it function only with manual control as a burglar-proof? I would like to know if the activation of the motion sensor, the change of position, act only by sending an alert text message and start monitoring on the server? Don't they also trigger the output of the blue wire where I connected the siren? It would be nice if this were the case, the siren would also have the function of acoustic warning when the vehicle moves and / or when the geographical position changes.Instead, I suspect that the blue wire output can only be activated manually by sending the SMS 1234 K. I want to specify that I have not connected the input signal (green wire) to anything, so it is inactive. I would not want that to make the siren work together with the movement sms, it is necessary to enable this green input wire.

I would like instead that, by phoning directly to the number of the Starline M17, I have an answer sms with the geographical coordinates and or the link to connect directly to the portion of the map. Instead M17 answers the phone call by making me listen to the audio around.

To disable the audio control not knowing the sms to disable the audio control, because it is not shown in the manual, I tried sending the command of an sms requesting the geographical coordinates 1234 F LT and on the next call made to the M17 the audio control was disabled.

However, even in these conditions I phoned the M17 but I did not receive any sms with the position data in either text or link format.

I would like to know if to have the SMS occasionally when I want it, I must necessarily send an SMS request 1234 F LT or 1234 F T or 1234 F L (it depends in what format I want it)?

I wonder if this is the method of operation of this GPS M17. If so, it is a bit burdensome because it consumes text messages on the calling proprietary telephone.
